Lindsey Ann Castone-Elsey is a professor of art and internationally exhibiting ceramic artist specializing in functional wares. She was born in Charleston, South Carolina. Lindsey earned her BFA in Studio Art from Appalachian State University, concentrating in both Ceramics and Metalsmithing & Jewelry Design, and her MFA in Visual Art from Clemson University in 2015. Both her writing and visual work have been featured in several magazines and catalogs, including Ceramics Monthly, the 3rd World International Ceramics Exhibition in Beijing, and a number of local and regional publications. Her work has been purchased for display in several galleries and conference centers throughout the southeast, as well as the Raffles Zorlu Centre in Istanbul, Turkey. Lindsey made her New York debut at the 2015 MFA National Exhibition at First Street Gallery in the heart of the Chelsea district. She has been an adjunct professor of art at Wingate University, just south of Charlotte, NC since 2016 and currently teaches design & ceramics at Kennesaw State University.
